Kayla and Amy met in Boulder, Colorado, where they grew to love Stout Month which was held at their favorite local brew pubs, Mountain Sun, and Southern Sun. The month of February was stocked with Colorado-brewed stouts and guest stouts from craft breweries throughout the country. Every week they would enter the brewery to try the latest brew, laugh with friends, play some Scrabble, Apples to Apples, or a even a scattered game of cards. Since this is their first year away from Colorado, the two gals have decided to uphold the tradition, and make Stout Month happen from afar. Kayla now lives in Washington D.C., and Amy now lives in Seattle, Washington. Bringing in brews from the East and the West, the two have vowed to make Stout Month an annual tradition!
